Saint Paul’s Church, Tarsus – A recently available announcement from the Catholic Church has added one more reason to visit Turkey’s Christian sites; Pope Benedict officially launched the Vatican’s “Year of St. Paul” on June 28th, celebrating certainly one of Jesus’ most significant disciples. Paul was created 2,000 years ago in Tarsus, southern Turkey near Mersin. This can be a rare and different possibility to experience a religious service in St. Paul’s Church.
